Coachella And Stagecoach Festivals Canceled For 2020, But 2021 Dates Set

Coachella and Stagecoach advertiser Goldenvoice on Thursday affirmed 2021 dates for its twin celebrations.

"Starting at now, Coachella weekend one will occur April 9-11, 2021 and end of the week two will be April 16 – 18, 2021," it said today. "Stagecoach is set for April 23-25, 2021. We anticipate sharing our new setups and more data. We can hardly wait to be together in the desert again when it is protected."

It said each of the 2020 passes will be regarded for the following year's occasions.

Already, June 10 PM: The Coachella Music and Arts Festival and its sister blue grass performance Stagecoach, which had initially delayed its spring dates on account of the coronavirus episode, are authoritatively dropped. The request descended Wednesday evening from the Riverside County (CA) general wellbeing official.

The two SoCal occasions, must-goes to on the music fest schedule, had in March chosen to defer their dates to October as COVID-19 turned into a worldwide wellbeing emergency. The two occasions are held yearly at the 78-section of land Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA.
Goldenvoice is the advertiser for the two shows.

"This Order perceives that both the Coachella Music and Arts Festival and the Stagecoach Country Music Festival are music shows and social occasions of a universal extension, drawing in many thousand of participants from numerous nations, including a few lopsidedly burdened by the overall COVID-19 pandemic," said the request (read it here) from Riverside County wellbeing official Dr. Cameron Kaiser. He included: "If COVID-19 were recognized at these celebrations, the degree and number of participants and the idea of the setting would make it infeasible, if certainly feasible, to follow the individuals who might be set in danger."

Kaiser said Riverside County as of now has 9,590 affirmed coronavirus cases and 365 passings.

The current year's Coachella record included main events like Rage Against the Machine, Megan Thee Stallion, Run the Jewels, Calvin Harris, Travis Scott, Thom Yorke, 21 Savage, Danny Elfman, Frank Ocean, Lana Del Rey, Lil Nas X, FKA Twigs, Fatboy Slim and others.

California keeps on working its way through a staged returning of the state in the midst of the pandemic. The majority of the state is in Phase 2, with shopping and eateries starting to return with limitations. Shows and other huge occasions incorporating games are in the last Phase 4 of resuming, with that date still obscure.

Reports: Coachella and Stagecoach Festivals might be moving to October

According to Health24, the virus can spread quickly at large meetings, so it would make sense to avoid an event in which tens of thousands of participants are expected to dance, race and sleep in nearby camps.

The festival, which has the same weekend schedule, will take place between April 10 and 12, and again between April 17 and 19. The main prescribing artists are Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean. South Africa DJ Black Coffee appears as an artist in this prestigious event. Other highlights include Beyonce and Ariana Grande.

Stagecoach, one of the country's largest annual country music festivals, had to follow the same scene in Indio from April 24 to 26, with Carrie Underwood, Eric Church and Thomas Ritt.

According to reports, event organizers, Goldenvoice, are currently reporting to the agents and the conclusion that is available on the weekend, respectively, from October 9.

We must add that this has not been confirmed yet because the established company has not published a statement.

This report comes after South by Southwest is officially announced suspended by 2020, and many other conferences and festivals, such as Ultra, will be canceled or delayed until later in the year.

The Miami Winter Music Conference has been suspended, and Madonna has canceled its upcoming shows in Paris.

Stagecoach 2019 Lineup: Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, Jason Aldean Lead Country Festival

Poison’s Bret Michaels, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Tom Jones also set to perform at eclectic California fest

Despite a wide range of female billings that includes Cam, Terri Clark, Ashley Monroe, Lauren Alaina and Rita Wilson, 2019’s Stagecoach also marks the first year since 2014 that the lineup is completely devoid of female headliners.
